Alternatively, if you are not driving, we are a 2 minute walk from Snow Hill Train Station and a 5 minute walk from St Chad's Tram Stop. We are also a 2 minute walk from the 16, 16A and 74 Bus Stop (you can get this bus from Birmingham New Street Station).

On arrival our staff will direct you to a cloakroom area to hang any coats/bags you do not wish to wear or hold during your activity. We also have lockers available for you to store valuables in. Please note, we do not charge for use of lockers but these are used at your own risk. Lockers are not big enough to store large bags.
We only have one small toilet in the venue with no changing facilities, so it’s not suitable to get changed on arrival. Please come prepared, dressed in the clothes you intend to wear for painting.
We will of course clean all your paint stations and equipment for you. You are welcome to use our clean-up area for yourself - there are large sinks and we provide plenty of soap, water and towels.
Yes, we have 1 customer toilet onsite. Please note, unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible.
Of course! We actively encourage you to take photos and show all of your friends what a great time they missed out on. Be sure to tag @SplashArtRepublic on all of your socials- we love to see all your artworks! We may even reshare your post!
By entering the studio you acknowledge that you may have your picture taken and it may be posted online.
Activities Help
Got questions about how it all works? Here’s what to expect- from what’s included to what to wear.
Everything you need will be included in the price of your session which is a duration of 1 hour total. At a glance, this will be the following;
Splash Art - Standard canvas, PPE (poncho, shoe covers, safety glasses & optional gloves), all paint, tools & equipment and a takeaway box to take your art home immediately*.
Pour Art - Standard 23cm bear model, PPE (apron, gloves), 3 bottles of 60ml paint, all tools & equipment and optional glitter**.
Upgrades can be added at the time of booking, or on the day if stock is available.
*Our staff will advise if there are any stock issues for our takeaway boxes and offer an alternative solution of drying your canvas in store to be collected at a later date. Please note, otherwise we do not store canvases onsite and these will need to be taken home on the day.

Sessions run for 1 hour. After each session, our team needs time to clean and reset the studio ready for the next group, so sessions run on a fixed schedule (for example, a 2pm session followed by a 4pm session).
Because of this, we’re unable to extend sessions. If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time, so we always recommend arriving a few minutes early to get the most out of your visit.
If you are looking to paint for longer than this, you will need to enquire about exclusive hire where we will be happy to assist with custom packages at our venue.
It is our recommendation that you wear clothing that you don’t mind getting messy. Whilst we provide protective equipment as part of your session, the activities can get messy and paint can find it’s way onto clothing.
For Splash Art/Spin Art you will receive a poncho, shoe covers, safety glasses and optional gloves. For Pour Art, you will receive an apron and gloves. Upgrades are available for PPE which can be added at the time of booking, or on the day if stock is available.
Whilst our paint is water based acrylic, it can stain clothing.
If your child is between the ages of 4-7 years old, you will need to purchase an Artist & Apprentice ticket for our Splash Art session. We are unable to accommodate children this age in our Pour Art sessions as they are 8 years+.
If your child is between the ages of 8-11 years old, they will need a paying adult in the studio with them. Unfortunately due to the nature of our venue and limited space in our Studios, we cannot allow parents to just spectate to supervise. One paying adult can supervise up to 4 children.
If your child is between the ages of 12-15 years old, they will need an adult on site. This adult does not need to pay for a session, however please note that you will likely have to wait in our reception area as we cannot accommodate spectators in our Studios due to limited space.
16 years + can attend our sessions without an accompanying adult.
Unfortunately our studios are not suitable for spectating. This is a combination of space limitations, and also the nature of the activities themselves- our Splash Art Studio in particular is a floor-to-ceiling paint flying zone. If you are wanting to be involved in the creativity we would recommend booking a ticket, it's good fun!
We always advise booking in advance to secure your space. We often get last minute bookings and we are unfortunately unable to squeeze in extra people if you just turn up as we have a set number of stations in our studios.
If you are going to be late, please call the studio you are attending to let our staff know. If they are unable to answer the phone, it may be because they are checking in other guests or briefing groups. In this instance, please continue to make your way to the studio safely and on arrival our staff will do their best to accommodate you.
Please note, that if you are late to your booking your session will still finish at it's intended time as we need to be able to clean and reset our Studios for following sessions. In some cases we may not be able to accommodate you. In these cases, we will do our best to offer alternative solutions where possible, but otherwise it is your responsibility to arrive in time for your booking.
- If you cancel more than 48 hours before your booking, we will happily reschedule your session free of charge. NEEDS CHECKING-Please note that we will only hold credit on your account for a maximum of 1 year.
- If you choose to reschedule less than 48 hours before your booking, a £20 rescheduling fee per booking will apply for parties of 5 or under. Parties of 5 or more will incur additional rescheduling fees.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your booking are non-refundable. All bookings are final.
- If your entire party — or any individual guest within your party — fails to attend the booking, no refund will be issued and the booking cannot be rescheduled.
- In the unlikely event that Splash Art Republic needs to cancel or reschedule your booking for any reason, you will be offered either a 100% refund or the option to move your booking to an alternative date.
Group Queries
Coming as a group? Here’s what you need to know about private hire, group discounts, and bringing your own extras.
Yes! If you wish to privately hire one of our studios, you can. Whole venue hire is also available. Please refer to our Group Bookings page for further details or get in touch at enquiries@splashartrepublic.co.uk.
When contacting us regarding exclusive hire, please help us by stating which location you wish to enquire about.
Yes! If you book 10 or more tickets we offer a 10% discount. This will be automatically deducted from your total at checkout.
Due to the nature of the activity, it is not appropriate to bring food for consumption on the premises during our sessions.
We are only able to accommodate food for private bookings.
Yes, we are a BYOB Studio, and you’re welcome to bring your own drinks to enjoy during your session.
Some sessions are Adults Only, while others are open to everyone and children may also be present. During general sessions, we simply ask guests to be sensible and mindful of younger visitors. If you’re specifically looking for a more relaxed, drinks-friendly experience, we recommend booking one of our Adult Only sessions.
BYOB is best suited to our Pour Art, as some of our other experiences such as Splash Art and Spin Art are more hands-on and involve standing and throwing paint. This means drinks may need to be kept safely aside, and whilst the chances of getting paint splashes in your drink are unlikely, it's not impossible!
Children's Paint Parties
Planning or attending a children’s paint party? Here’s everything you need to know- from guest numbers to cakes, photos, and supervision.
Our parties in Birmingham start from 8 guests for Spin Art and for Splash/Pour parties, our packages start at 12 guests. You can of course invite less than this, but our packages are a set price and will not be reduced if there are less attendees.
For Splash/Pour Art we can accommodate up to 15 guests maximum. Additional guests over the 12 person package are £30pp.
e.g If you have 13 guests, it will be £350 (12 guests) + £30 (1 additional guest).
Yes, but please note if you are bringing a cake, due to Natasha’s Law we do not allow home made cakes. All cakes need to be either shop bought or from a reputable baker with a full list of ingredients and allergens.
We will conclude your session in a timely manner to allow for a cake cutting ceremony, usually 10 minutes before the end.
We only require a minimum of 1 adult to enter the Studio with a birthday party, and will provide appropriate PPE for that adult. Up to a maximum of 2 adults can be in the Studio with a party, but due to space limitations we cannot accommodate anymore than this.
You are welcome to drop your child off for their party and collect them once it's finished. Our parties are for the duration of 1 hour.

Gift Vouchers
Thinking of gifting a creative experience? Here’s how our vouchers work- from buying to redeeming.
Yes. We offer Gift Vouchers for our experiences. You can either purchase one for a specific amount to cover a session for someone, or you can purchase a monetary value of your choice.
If you have purchased or received a Gift Voucher for one of our venues, it will contain a voucher code that can be redeemed during the checkout process of booking a session on our website. Please note, this code will be one time use so ensure you are redeeming the full amount in one purchase.
Gift Vouchers have a 1 year expiry date from the date of purchase.
No. Our Gift Vouchers are site-specific, so please ensure you double check you are purchasing for the site you or whoever you're gifting it to would like to visit.
Our Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are not extendable.
Gift Vouchers have a monetary value that can be used as part or full payment for any activity and add-ons.
Gift Vouchers can only be reissued on supplying proof of purchase of original voucher.
Our Gift Vouchers are non-refundable.

Yes. You'll have the option to do this on our website at the time of booking, but don't worry if you haven't done it here and change your mind on arrival! You can upgrade or purchase extras on the day too*.

Not at all! You don't have to be a seasoned artist, or even have held a paintbrush before, to come and join one of our sessions at Splash Art Republic. Our fantastic Studio Assistants are on hand to help or offer advice, but we're positive that anyone can make a masterpiece!
For our Splash Art, Spin Art and Sip & Paint we provide a take away box for you to take your artwork home immediately. Unfortunately we cannot store canvases to dry in store and do not currently offer postage for these.
For our Pour Art, we require your models to dry in our studio for a minimum of 4-5 days. If you are unable to return to collect your artwork, we can arrange postage* at an additional fee. Usually this is £5 per 2 x standard 23cm bear models.
*Please note, drying time will be a minimum of 1 week for postage to ensure your models are completely dry before packaging.
When booking onto one of our general sessions, there may be other groups present during your visit. You will have your own dedicated station and a selection of equipment for your personal use, while our paints and additional tools are shared between guests.
If you would prefer to have the studio exclusively for your group, you can enquire about exclusive hire. This is perfect for events such as birthdays, team building sessions, celebrations, and other private gatherings.
One person is the minimum booking requirement for one of our standard sessions*. Our Studios can accommodate the following maximum group sizes:

Splash Art/Spin Art
As part of your booking, we provide you with a takeaway box to allow you to take your canvas home immediately at the end of your session. Please note, your canvas will be wet so care will have to be taken with transportation- think of it like carrying a really large pizza! We cannot store canvases in our studio, they must be taken home at the end of your session so ensure you are planning for this when visiting us.
Pour Art
Pour Art Models will need to be left at the end of your session to dry in our studios for a minimum of 4-5 days. These cannot be taken home immediately as there is no way to transport them whilst they are still wet. You can either return to our studio to collect at a later date, or postage can be arranged at an additional fee.
Unfortunately not. If you booked before an offer went live, we’re unable to refund or apply the promotion to your booking. Our offers apply to new bookings only and are valid only during the promotional period, but we really appreciate the support of customers who book with us early.
We offer 10% off for Blue Light card holders.* Other than this, we may occasionally offer seasonal or one-off discounts, but we do not offer any discounts as standard.
*For a maximum of up to 6 tickets. Blue Light card will need to be presented on arrival. Failure to do so will result in the discount being revoked and remaining balance will need to be paid before you can attend your session.
